Serving free meals to at-risk individuals throughout the greater Indianapolis area to meet people where they live, work and play; to provide physical nourishment; to expose guests to the Gospel and the love of Christ; and to connect them to local churches and like-hearted organizations.
The following are at-risk populations we serve:

– Limited English Proficiency & Non-English Speakers
– People with Lack of Transportation
– People of Low Socioeconomic Status
– Individuals Experiencing Homelessness

FOOD PREP TEAM
Our food prep team prepares the food that will be cooked for each event.
This team serves at our commercial kitchen at Traders Point Church in Whitestown, IN, and is supervised by our head chef, Charity Cason.
You don’t need to be a trained chef to serve on our prep team! We will provide an apron and gloves when you serve. Please wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes and keep hair pulled back.
Tasks include putting away orders, washing produce, chopping, slicing, cooking and cleaning the kitchen.
Time Requirement: 3 Hours
EVENT DAY TEAM
Our event day team is our ‘all-in’ team.
This team meets at the outreach location and helps set up all necessary equipment, serves during the event and assists in cleaning up afterward.
This team makes each TKC outreach both efficient and significant!
During the event, this team welcomes our guests; hands out food, drinks and resources; and lovingly engages with the community.
Please wear temperature-appropriate TKC attire.
Time Requirement: 4 Hours
REFRESH TEAM
Our refresh team makes sure the truck is spotless both inside and out!
This team ensures the truck can consistently provide high-quality meals from a mobile kitchen that is clean and up to code.
Our refresh team meets at our commercial kitchen at Traders Point Church in Whitestown, IN after each truck event to unload and clean the truck and the equipment used during the outreach!
There is no specific dress code, but we recommend wearing clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.
Time Requirement: 2 Hours
